AR-CHAIC ARCHE-TYPE 

The Archaic Archetype is a selection of screen prints adapted from a series of small paintings on glass created in 2017.

A serie depicting archaic representation of women by contrasting effigies like the Venus figurine, ancient statues, and catholic icons with more contemporary aspects of female symbolism.

The transition from the very intimate and small, almost religious, format of the paintings to the large formats of these screen prints, enhances the represented symbols.
